Since 1928 a different kind of magic has captivated the world, all thanks to Walt Disney and the mouse that started it all. For a while this magic that captivated the hearts of the world was only in movies, on paper in books, and for a while that was enough.
But a while isn't forever...
The villains have created their own force, having jumped from story to story rallying up followers. They created a master plan to wreck what has been deemed timeless stories of happiness, love, and triumph. For once they will be happy, they will find love, and they will be the ones to triumph.
But once is only once...
As other Disney spirits caught wind of the destruction that the villains had been planning, they began to build a force to fight back.
But a beginning means there must be an end...
The force wasn't strong enough. After a near defeat, all of the magical - good hearted - spirits derived a new plan. The only way to escape the villains were to escape the stories that were binding them; all of the endangered spirits agreed that they must get out.
But an escape doesn't mean safety...
A spell was cast by all of the good Disney spirits who had the magic within them. Now their spirits were no longer bound to the pages of the book or the television screen. Instead, their spirits lived on in human form. They seemed to collect in a small college town where they isolated themselves.
But the real world isn't so isolated...
The villains were hot on their tail, and they too cast a very similar spell. Now these Disney spirits are intertwined with the real world and the villains that haunt their stories and they don't even know it. Nobody knows it. The Disney spirits, both good and evil, have inhabitted the bodies of everyday citizens. Unfortunately, they don't have much recollection of their storybook lives and their troubles - only vague memories similar to their stories. So for all they know, they were born this way. While this idea is a comfort, there is some worry and some hunger for power lurking in the back of the spirits' minds. Nobody knows who their conversing with, whether their friend or foe, natural or a spirit. The naturals though, they don't know anything.
But this ignorance is some kind of wonderful...
