Natalie walked into the Event Showroom. It was her own little tradition to walk around the school grounds before classes during the first week. She wore a cute purple dress, a light white jacket, and a purple headband and heels. Her light blonde hair was a little below her shoulders. She quietly walked around the empty room. She stared straight at a microphone in the corner. She gave a small smile. It might be fun to sing a bit. Just for the heck of it of course. Natalie secretly liked singing but she knew she wasn't good enough. She wasn't a singer. She was more of a dancer, even if she wasn't the best dancer either. She was good enough to be a dancer for the cheerleading team. Cheerleading, the sport she put all her effort in. The one she was meant to be in.
She looked around to make sure no one was around and walked over to the microphone. She grabbed the mike and pulled it off the stand. She looked down at it and stared. Still unsure if she should do it. She put it up to her mouth. She did have the song "Keep me Hanging on." stuck in her head at the moment. She closed her eyes and started to sing softly. Letting herself relax and get into the song. Like she actually had an audience and was performing.

She sang that little bit by putting in little dance moves and stopped. She chuckled at herself and put the microphone back in the stand. Who was she kidding, she wasn't a singer. She would never be as good as half the girls in the school. She wouldn't ever make it out there. This was one dream she would have to give up. This wasn't like Natalie, to have no confidence, but for some reason confidence never came with singing.
