Megan rushed into Merlotte's bar and grill panting for breath. It was her first official day on the job, and she hadn't wanted to be late. The bus had a different plan in mind. It had been running behind schedule, and Megan had been so worried she wouldn't get here in time she just got off at the stop before and ran the rest of the way. Since she got here before the bus it looked like she had made a wise decision. She took her cell phone out of her bag looks like she had made it with five minutes to spare. She got a hair tie out of her bag then put it behind the bar. She tied her hair into a tight pony tail as she didn't want it to come loose while she was working. She clocked in then went behind the bar and started serving drinks. Only part of her job was to serve drinks behind the bar the other part of her job was to take the drinks to the tables. She grabbed a Coors light beer, and walked over to one of the back tables. She sat the drink down she felt a hand slap her ass.
She turned around and glared at the offender. The guy just smirked and said, "Hey baby what say you and me head back to my place." She took a deep breathe trying to control her anger. This guy had to be twice he size and he looked as if he was a construction worker. It wouldn't be the wisest idea to piss a guy like him off. She wondered if she should get her boss, but since nothing had really happened yet she didn't think that was wise. She didn't want her boss to think she couldn't handle a couple of drunk dumbasses.
She sighed and said, "Thanks, but no thanks. I got work to do."She then turned around and started to head back to the bar. Suddenly she felt a tight grip on her arm keeping her from walking away. She turned to see it was the guy who had smacked her ass now had her arm in a vice like grip. She struggled for a couple of minutes trying to work her arm free, but he just gripped her arm tighter.
"It wasn't a question!"The guy gripped Megan's arm even tighter as she began to try to kick her way out of his grip. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - tagged for Jayson with wordcounthere 438. i am wearing this and listening to hookmeup-theveronicas

( WHEN I SEE YOUR SMILE )tears roll down my face , i can't replace NOW THAT I AM STRONG , I'VE FIGURED OUT. . . . . . . . . . . . .Jayson had entered the bar expecting to be able to relax after his rehearsal. Instead he was greeted by a guy trying to force a young lady to leave with him and it wasn't Jayson's nature tolet anyone get away with that. So he moved closer until he was standing near the drama. "I believe the lady said no. So back off." he said confidently while holding himself at his full six foot five height. The man glared at him and sort of laughed off the college student. "This is none of your business, buddy." the man said.
Jay narrowed his green yes slightly before responding "I'm making it my business, if you want to man handle any then it will be me. Not a lady." Jayson knew he was taking a risk. But he didn't care. This guy was not get what he wanted. Even if Jay got a bit beaten up in the process. The guy eyed him up trying to intimidate the canadian born college student "You want to fight pretty boy. You don't know what you're getting ya self into." The man said arrogantly.
Jay ran his fingers through his blonde hair and said "If that stops you doing what you were planning on doing, yes. I know exactly what I'm getting myself into, thank you" Jay was getting testy and ready to show this arrogant jerk what he was made of. Jay while not being your typical jock type, in fact he was more of the performer type, was perfectly fit and was pretty athletic. so he was fully capable of beating this guy, already having a slight size advantage. Deciding he didn't want to wreck his new leather jacket and shirt in a fight and removed both revealing the abs underneath. Jayson didn't miss the look on the man's face once he saw that the pretty boy as he had called him was ripped. The next second the man had let go of the lady and had swung at Jay, which Jay countered with a blow of his own. The fight continued and the man soon ran out of steam and backed off. "Whoa, you're too strong and fast for me I can't keep up. I'm out of here, I'll get what I want som other time." the man said before running off. Jay laughed at the worn out man before turning to the lady and said ]"Hi, are you alright? He didn't hurt you did he? I'm Jayson by the way" before he remembered he wasn't wearing his top and blushed. . . . . . . . . . . . . . Megan was worried for a minute until she felt the man's hand disappear from her arm. He started a fight with Jayson, but ran off when her found out Jayson was too tough for him to beat. She couldn't help but chuckle as she watch the man run off with his tail tucked between his legs. She rubbed her wrist gingerly. It had only been a few minutes and it was already starting to bruise. She felt like scrubbing her wrist until it bled just so she could get the feel of that dirtbag's hands off of her as soon as possible.
She took a look at the guy that had helped her out. She couldn't help but run her eyes over his body. Not bad, not bad at all. She was surprised to see how ripped the guy was. Seemed like he packed one heck of a punch too. When she had been bringing drinks she thought Jayson was one of those guys who had never gotten in a fight in his entire life. Apparently she had been as wrong as could be when he had easily best the guy. Goes to show you can't really judge a book by it's cover.
She looked around to make sure Sam didn't come out feeling the need to see what the heck had happened. Apparently there hadn't been as much as a commotion as she thought. She was really glad of that. Since this was her first day on the job she didn't want to seem like she couldn't handle the job. She knew that there were times where the drunks would get a bit grabby. That was just part of the hazards of the job. It was similar to knowing every now and again that there would be a bar fight.
She smiled when Jayson addressed her least she could do was be polite to the guy that had helped her out so much. "I'm fine. Bruised wrist is the worst of my injuries thankfully. What about you? You didn't get hurt did you Wonderboy? I'm Megan. Friends call me Meg though. Listen I'm sorry about the trouble dinner is on me tonight." She appreciated Jayson's help, but she hated being in anyone's debt. She'd been taking care of herself for so long that she'd learned to repay any favor done for you. She didn't notice any wounds on Jayson so she figured he was fine.
