everyone knows the stories of metro man and megamind - how the two out of these world aliens battled it out over metro city for twenty straight years. it all seemed to be an overdrawn game of cat and mouse, something that two childhood rivals were enacting on a city-wide scale. when the tables finally turned, it didn't go the way anyone expected - metro man went into retirement, leaving megamind to take up the mantle of the city's hero. and take it up, he had to.
now, nearly eighteen years later, it seems impossible that the blue-skinned former supervillain ever did anything but defend metro city from any and all threats. crime is at an all time low, and the city continues to grow and expand under the watchful eyes of megamind's defense network. but...as with all things, all good times must come to an end.
rumor is starting to go around that there's a seedy underbelly to the city that megamind and other would-be heroes haven't even dreamed of existing. the mafia is also putting down roots in various sections of the city, leaving many to wonder what's next. revelations that other aliens survived the planetary destruction that drove metro man and megamind to earth in the first place are stirring up even more confusion. cutthroats, gangsters and aliens, oh my! fasten your seatbelts, citizens of metro city...we're all in for a bumpy ride.
