She is extremely protective of those she cares about to the point that she will put her own life on the line to protect them.
She suffers from a broken heart, and comes off a little bitter sometimes. Even though she's been hurt she is still a secret romantic at heart. She is terrified of getting her heart broken again. She values her independence and can't stand anyone who treats her as anything other then a equal.
She is very stubborn, and it is extremely difficult to get her to change her mind. She can usually be found trying to relax to avoid getting another of her frequent headaches. She takes her studies very seriously as she views them as the key to her future.

BRIEF HISTORY: Frank Smith was a well known Lawyer and Heather Egan was a well known writer. They met when Heather was accused of plagiarizing. She hired Frank as her lawyer and was found non-guilty. During the case a romance had started between the two. They weren't soulmates or anything, but they cared for each other.
When Heather became pregnant with Megan the thought of marriage passed their minds, but they decided against it. They shared custody of Megan with Heather getting her for most of the time. They raised Megan well and even when they began seeing other people they remained friends.
Megan had a normal childhood. When she was 16 she met Hank Turner, and shortly began dating him. They dated until they graduated from high school. On the day of graduation Hank proposed to Megan and she accepted. Megan was in love, and working towards her dreams. She couldn't have been happier.
When she was 19 there was an accident. Megan and Hank were out seeing a movie, and Hank went to get the car. He didn't look when he was crossing the street so he didn't notice the truck hurtling towards him. Megan noticed though and pushed Hank out of the way getting hit by the truck in the process. She walked away fairly unharmed except for a long scar that ran across her back where the truck had hit her.
Shortly after the accident Megan discovered that Hank had been cheating on her with several different woman. She was heartbroken. She chucked her engagement ring at him, and moved out of their apartment. She decided to move to a new town, and start over.
