Hey look, it's cinco de mayo! Happy cinco de mayo! I hope it's a good one! ...But that's not what this update is about... In fact, this update is a very vague one as I'm short on time, but be ready for some further information coming your way - and feel free to post any questions or comments in this thread or PM staff!

Looking around you may have noticed some drastic (and beautiful) changes on our little site. The wonderful skin and new coding was done by our lovely coding/graphics mod, Isa. So when you get the chance, thank her, will you? She's also been kind enough to work out a little guide regarding all of the new codes, which she will touch upon at a different point in time. I'm only going to touch upon some of the new details we have on the site.

We have a music player down at the bottom of the page where you can listen to disney-esque and muse stimulating music. This should be enjoyable. Coming soon will be a request thread for music to be added to the playlist. We've also added an ICCB board meaning a in character chat board, which is like a chatroom, but for your characters. Don't let it get crazy and overpower the site, otherwise we'll take it away.

I know this was very vague, and the details will be filled in later, like I said. There will be changes to the rules coming up as well, so keep up with those. Enjoy!

Building to what Allie was leading to, I'll be able to go into a bit more details about the skin, the coding, and all the funness it's hopefully going to bring. Now the new skin is set to be our default skin, however this sometimes doesn't change for the members. You got to change it yourself. To see the skin, go to your profile click modify and then scroll down to Select Skin. You should select the option: Cinder To Crown.

This new skin as given the whole site a different kind of look, as new codes went up and a few of the old codes went down. As a lot of hard work went into getting this new skin, Cinder to Crown, up, I hope everyone enjoys it! To enjoy Cinder To Crown fully, I'm going to explain a few of the new codes that will effect you. I'm sure many of you have seen several, if not all, of the new codes on previous sites, however it's still nice to know they are up and running here and how to use them. The following is a list of the new codes that I will explain briefly here:

Add Copyright: very simple, and I'm sure everyone knows what this means. What this does is add a line to the bottom of every post reading as follows: ©2011, Display Name, All Rights Reserved. Copyright is very important and we like to make sure everyone, guest and members alike, know our members hold the rights to their material.

Avatar Resize: again very simple and pretty self-explainatory. This allows for avatars of sizes 100px x 100px and bigger! The max size for avatars now is 150px x 200px, and we would love if everyone took avantage of this new size, since it does give the whole thing a beautiful look!

Code Tag Modification: what this means is that when ever you see or post in [ code ] [ /code ] your going to see a white box with a scrolling ability and the words ENCHANT THE CODE below it as a button. If you hit the button that says ENCHANT THE CODE, it will highlight everything you have put inside for an easier way to copy the material.

Enhanced Ubbc Tables: this is something fairly new to proboards in general. This is the equivalent of invisionfree's Dohtmls templates, a major hit for invisionfree, and hopefully to proboards as well! As enhanced tables template codes differ from dohtml, and just differ in general from what most know, I will try and go over as much as I can in a seperate post.

In Character Chatbox: this is definitely not new to anyone, however a iccb has been put up with the new skin. There will be rules to follow for the ICCB, which you can find with the link to the chatbox. Please make sure you read through them before you post in the in character chat box! If the staff find that the iccb is replacing actual RPing, the iccb will be removed; it's for pleasure purposes so enjoy!

Mini Profile Base: if you click your name it'll brin you to your profile, well if you look at the area with your name and avatar you'll notice it's set up a bit differently. This is part of the reason why we decided that bigger avatars are better.

Music Player: yep! Down at the bottom of the site, beside the in character chat box and the affiliates is our very own music player. It currently has a few songs on it, but we'll be putting up a Request form for the music player so everyone can hopefully have something to listen to while they are posting away! Just press play!

Pop It Menu: in the side bar, you'll see the words Hover. Hovering over that, a smaller menu should pop up for you to click quick links. This is also being used in the staff area. Hover over an image to see the staff member, their position, and who they play on the site.
