i ain't the kind you take home to mama; i ain't the kind to wear no
ring; somehow i always get stronger when i'm on my second drink.
NAME: "Why hello, I'm Molly Adelaide Derelict."
NICKNAME: "Just call me Molly."
AGE: "I'm eighteen years old, but that's not the kind of thing I flaunt. Do you know how many opportunities I'd miss if people caught on?"
DATE OF BIRTH: "I was born on a cold, windy, autumn day. November 14, 1993 - to be exact."
STATUS/INTERESTED IN: "Currently I'm single, but I'm alright with that. I'm not the kind to settle down; I like keeping my options open. Besides, why would you want to be tied down to somebody anyway? It leads to so many more... problems."
EYES: "My eyes are a hazel color. Not green enough to be called green, not brown enough to be brown. As for eye makeup, I like going for the smokey eye shades."
HAIR: "I have long brown hair that's a mess of shades. There are dark browns - almost blacks - all the way down to the lighter shades with hints of red. Naturally my hair is really wavy, and some days it even curls itself."
STYLE: "I don't give a damn what you think about my style; I suppose I'll start with that. I wear what I'm in the mood to wear. Concert ts, jeans, maybe a mini skirt, you never know with me. I'm pretty rebellious and I suppose that comes out in my choice of clothes. Yet somehow I always catch eyes on me, and many glances from the boys despite what I wear. Whether it's because of the way I carry myself or the skin I show... Well, I'll leave you to decide."
BODY TYPE: "I'm tall and thin. I stand at about 5'8" and weigh about 129 pounds. I'm pretty athletic too, so it's not like I'm only this thin little figure. I'm toned for a girl - but not to the point of it being disgusting. It still shows off my little feminine frame."
UNIQUE FEATURES: "Where should I begin? Well, I have three piercings in each ear, and a cartilage piercing on my left ear. I also have my belly button pierced. On my eighteenth birthday I went out and got a tattoo, so now I have a black dragon tattooed on my hip."
DISNEY SPIRIT: Maleficent, Sleeping Beauty.
LIKES: "Ten things I like? Oh, that's not too difficult. I like dragons because I think they represent freedom and strength, and were fearless. I also like fire - though I'm not a pyromaniac, don't worry. I like barbecuing, summernights, and winter mornings. I enjoy parties and drinking. Men - I love men and doing things with them, hint, hint (so find me, alright?). I like being in control, challenges, and the list continues."
DISLIKES: "Ten things I dislike? Oh, this is slightly more difficult... for most. I don't like being excluded, I hate raspberry iced tea and pink lemonade (honestly, lemons are yellow, keep their drink yellow too!). I don't like sweets too much, I much rather prefer salty foods like chips. I don't like being tricked. I hate it when people are lazy and don't do their job. I don't like english class. I don't like it when people judge upon appearances, when people are misunderstood - and worst of all! When misunderstood people judge others who are misunderstood. Hypocrites - all of them. I hate hypocrites..."
SECRETS: "I've never stayed with a family for more than two months. I can't swim, which makes me terrified of water."
FEARS: "Fears? Psh, like you think I'm scared of anything... Okay, I admit it, I am afraid of sharp things like blades. Also, anything that can puncture; I don't like blood. So shots don't settle well with me. I still freak out in the doctors office when I get my shots like I did when I was eight. Also, like I mentioned, I can't swim so I'm terrified of large bodies of water and water where I can't see the bottom. I won't go in to the water past my elbows because of it."
GOALS: "You're going to think this is ridiculous, but someday I want to own a nice, cozy little house that's warm and welcoming, with a huge garden in the backyard. That's something I've never had, and the idea of growing a garden - knowing I had the ability to create something and control maintain it's beauty - thrills me."
PERSONALITY: Molly isn't really a bad girl, if you get on her good side almost instantly. Otherwise, she'll bite your head off and chew slowly. She's very misunderstood, but she doesn't really care to try to get people to understand. She's so used to be unwanted, that she doesn't care about what anybody thinks. She walks around acting like she owns the world or like the world wants to own her but can't. She's difficult to control. She's wild, rambuncious, and loves to party and have fun. She's a bit of a slut though, and will not turn down many offers for parties, drinking, dancing, anything. She will most certainly speak her mind and let her feelings and opinions known. Molly wants people to know that she knows who she is and that they better figure it out too. She has a terrible temper and loves revenge. She's argumentative and doesn't have the cleanest record.
Despite her many flaws, if somebody really got to know her inside, they'll find that she's loyal, willing to listen, and will give advice. However, this is difficult to see and it takes a lot for her to break down her wall. She's so used to having her guard up that she's become a cold, stone wall. She's never known what it's like to settle down and be wanted, and it's clear to see through some of her actions. With every action though, Molly never seems to regret anything. She's definately the type that in order to understand (or truly misunderstand), one would have to sit down and speak with her.
MOTHER: "I don't know who my mother is. I've never met her, and I can't imagine ever meeting her, let alone trying."
FATHER: "My answer about my father is the same about my mother. I don't know who he is, but I don't care."
SIBLINGS: "I couldn't tell you if I had siblings. I've had foster 'siblings', but they don't count."
OTHERS: "My best friend in the whole world is pretty damn important to me! He's about as close to family that I've got. We've been together since day one and we're ever so loyal to each other."
HOMETOWN: "I'm not quite sure what to call my hometown since I've been in so many places. I'll Just say New York City because that's where my orphanage was."
BRIEF HISTORY: "I think it's safe to say that my history is all over the place. Literally. I've been to so many places that I don't even remember all of them. So I'll tell you three big parts of my life: my elementary years, my middle school years, and my high school years. Unfortunately, there's no college stories yet, but I can bet that I'll make some.
"So I wasn't really put up for adoption. My story is the classic case of abandonment; too cliched if you ask me. This is what I think: my mom was a teen mom who went pyscho and decided that the best way to get rid of a kid she didn't want was to give it to somebody who always wanted more kids. Westside Orphanage. According to my file, a young, nameless woman entered the orphanage, filled out a few forms, didn't use a name, and left the minute she handed back the forms to the secretary to avoid questions. I think the story of abandonment is more exciting, personally. Every now and then I'll tell you that I narrowly escaped death having been picked up by a garbage man after my mom threw out the trash with me in it. Terrible, isn't it? I don't know which story is the truth, but they're all equally entertaining to tell (except for the boring one about my mom doing it the legal way). Now don't ask me how I can be so insensitive to the stories, let alone when they're about me, but it's not like I remember what any of it was like. It just doesn't affect me.
Anyway, moving on. I never really could get into hobbies when I was little because I'd be moving around from one foster home to the next. They never lasted more than a month. Apparently I was some little terror or something. It wasn't my fault if the other kids were annoying as hell and I had to teach 'em a thing or two. Okay, so my record isn't the cleanest, just a few schoolyard fights really. I grew out of it by the time I hit fifth grade. My elementary years consisted of approximately twelve different homes. Most of the time I would go for about a month, maybe two, and then I was kindly returned to Westside. My name was a commonly heard one in the hallways, but with the kids of the orphanage... Boy, we were family. They understood me so we never fought much, just little tiffs about somebody being in somebody else's space. The other kids who didn't last long and were adopted almost instantly... they judged. Everybody else though, they were great! I was best mannered in the orphanages.
Middle school was only slightly better than elementary school. My grades were alright, B's and C's and every once in a while I'd strike a gold mine in my head and crank out an A or two. I was never anything special. My only talents that I created over the years were drawing and photography, and that's about it. I couldn't get into school plays because I wouldn't be there until the production, so in middle school - through high school - I did the props and scenery. Those years, all of the homes. They were all the same. The proper little rich families who wanted the perfect child. Now, if you were bouncing from rich family to rich family, you'd probably be excited. Getting spoiled and all... Nah, it gets old. All they really want is to please you for the first few weeks. Write good letters to your friends, y'know? Only a few of them really cared and that was only when they had the perfect child. I sure wasn't that kid for them.
"Then high school rolled around, like the rest of my life. There was one couple, they were great! The 'dad' was way into old cars, and he taught me a few things. He even taught me how to drive even though I was only a freshman. Things got really weird with him and his wife though. It wasn't like they fought, but the air between them... It was bad. They were planning a divorce, I think, because they sent me back right before I would've hit the three mark line. That would've been my longest stay, and it was by far the best. I was so good for them, so well behaved, and my grades rocked! And then home was calling my name so I packed and was back in the familiar walls of Westside.
"The rest of my high school years... Well, I discovered some fun activities. I've always been daring, and I cannot turn down a dare or have somebody question my guts so I started going to parties. It wasn't these crappy sophomore parties either. I got pretty hardcore. I've always looked a little more mature than my age, and as a sophomore I passed as at least a junior - even senior a few times. So I was getting in to those parties. Beer Pong Champ of Tisket High 2010: that was me. Junior year I discovered the art of making fake IDs. I didn't do it to get in to bars, I just found these joke of clubs that played terrible music, served cheap drinks, but everybody would dance anyway. Best part? They didn't care for IDs so you couldn't handed them an index card and they'd let you in. It's pretty fun.
"Senior year was the best time for me; great parties, great boys. It was great! I graduated and got accepted into Port Royal Community College down here in South Carolina. Now that I'm an adult, I can do what I please, and I wanted to get a change of scenery. I own a tiny little apartment, copayed for by the government. I work two jobs and balance school as an art major. I want to open a photography studio - I'm more serious about that. Drawing is more of a hobby, photography is something I want."
