PERSONALITY:
adam has had a bit of a pessimistic outlook on life for several years now, but lately things have seemed to have gotten worse. he's taken to sulking and acting as if his whole world is just one one big downward spiral. he isn't much of a talker, but when he does open his mouth it's easy to say that he knows what he's talking about even if he is yelling it at someone. it's silly to think that his girlfriend dumping him would turn him into such a monster, but it's sad but true. his personality has shifted drastically, and it's definitely for the worst.
he can be almost charming when he wants to be, but you have to catch him in a certain mood. he isn't the nicest guy in the world and he knows it, but that doesn't mean that he's going to go out of his way to make everyone else miserable just because he's been throwing a pity party for himself for years now. truth be told, he's probably more of a beast now than he was when he was just some heartless prick. for the most part, he simply acts as if he doesn't care, and most of the time he does. there are certain things that push his buttons though, and his temper does have a tendancy to flare. he tries to avoid conflict as much as he can though, so things are normally pretty calm on his part.

BRIEF HISTORY: adam hasn't always been like he is today. there was once a time when he was actually happy. he has always claimed that growing up in france was probably the best time of his life. he was rich, popular, and incredibly good looking. what more could a guy ask for? adam was a miracle baby, born to two parents in their early forties. they had finally came to the conclusion that they would never have children, so, when adam came along, the doted on him every chance they got. from the beginning, he was always given everything he wanted. it was like he had the world in the palm of his hand, and it continued to be that way on up into his teens. it wasn't until then that he met her, the one who would change his life forever.
almost every guy has that girl in his life at some point that they've always wanted but have never stood a chance with, and this was that girl for adam. the only difference with her is that he actually did have her for awhile. they had been dating nearly four months before she finally saw what he truly was-a beast. she was the one who broke it to him that the world didn't revolve around him and the one who left him with a scar on his cheek from when she slapped him and a horrible name that he knew he would never live down. even now, the term beast still haunts him even though they left france shortly after when his father was transfered because of his job. the once happy adam has turned into someone much darker, and he isn't sure that anyone could break the spell that that name left him in.
