SECRETS: Megan nearly ran away with her boyfriend, before her boyfriend got into a tight spot with money, and she filled in for him.
She's still in love with her ex, even though she knows he's moved on.
FEARS: to fall in love again, to lose another person she cares about.
GOALS: to become a superstar singer or actress, either way to become wealthy and accomplished.
PERSONALITY: Megan is a very confident girl. She has always been very outgoing, proud, and spunky. She's friendly, but she doesn't try very hard to fit in, or to make friends. Since she finds it very difficult to trust anyone, she prefers to go it alone, rather than deal with the chance that she might be betrayed again. She would much rather fail at doing something by herself than succeed by relying on someone else. As sad as it is, she hates needing somebody's help with anything. Megan is stubborn, and even when she knows she's wrong about something, she won't openly admit it. She'll only ever admit it to herself when she's alone. She hates to admit any of her weaknesses, she likes to believe that she can move past them easily, and put the past behind her just like that. However, she does know that things aren't that easy, but she likes to keep up a pretense that she's just fine the way she is right now.
Despite the way she acts, Megan is pretty sensitive, although she keeps up a cool, disinterested act around most people. She's still hurting, and she desperately wants someone who will truly come to understand her, yet at the same time she doesn't want to put out the effort in letting anyone get to know her and break down the walls she's put into place. Even as she rejects any relationship that isn't a quick little kiss in a hallway, or something impersonal and short, she longs for a relationship, for someone to love her and make her feel like her world makes sense again. While she will continue to tell the world that love is fake, and that the only thing that will last is selfish human nature, she still longs for love.
However, she can be considered rather cold and insensitive from a first look. While she might sympathize if she caught sight of someone being bullied for example, she probably wouldn't do anything about it, since she'd feel that the person should have to learn to defend his or herself. That being said though, she would not approve of the bullies either, and probably would exact some kind of cruel little revenge on the person despite her belief. She's an incredible hypocrite, and she knows it, but still she continues to behave as she will. Megan likes to flirt and tease guys in order to remind herself that she's still pretty and someone they'd like, but she never goes for anything long term. As soon as someone suggests a date, she is out of there. And while she acts like she's big and tough, and doesn't need anyone, deep down she just needs somebody to love, and to learn that not everyone in the world is heartless.
MOTHER: Julianne Marie Price
FATHER: Theodore James Price
SIBLINGS: none
OTHERS: ex-boyfriend, --- ---
HOMETOWN: Los Angeles, California
BRIEF HISTORY:
Megan's father Theodore Price had always been a very well-to-do man. In college he had been working to become the CEO of a portion of Microsoft, which his own father had managed to become before, and had been instructing the man to follow in his ways. In college, he came across Megan's mother, Julianne while she was busy working to become a supermodel. She was definitely beautiful, and Theodore Price fell in love at first sight. Even though some might have felt that she was completely out of his league. Yet, despite that, Theodore and Julianne came across each other more and more frequently, seeing as they both lived on the campus, and their dorm rooms were pretty close to each other. At first, Julianne only thought Theodore would be interesting because of the money he seemed to be flaunting, but eventually she too, succumbed to ''the power of love'', as she often told her daughter.
A year or so after they both graduated from college, the two were married, and shortly after, they received the joyful little girl named Megan on Valentine's day. Even though her parents definitely loved her a great deal, most of the time they left her in the care of a nanny while they pursued their own big time careers. As a toddler, Meg was too young to understand, or take much notice, but it didn't matter much since she was showered with presents, all sorts of expensive toys that most kids would only ever dream about having. But for Meg, it was simply a matter of fact type of thing. However, as she started to grow older, and realize the relative loneliness of her life, she started to get a little frustrated by it all. While she knew her parents loved her, they rarely ever took time out to do something fun with her.
When she was old enough to start attending school, she was sent to a private elementary school, where only the wealthy could go and quickly grew tired of it. Since it was pretty closed off, the students never really changed, and Meg got bored of the same faces over and over again. Quickly she became a bit of a trouble maker, every so often sneaking out of classes to go get ice cream or do something else, mostly to try to get her parents' attention. It worked, but not as well as she had hoped. Instead, her parents asked her what she wanted most, and instead of saying time with them, she said a pony, thinking they'd never get her one anyway. To her surprise, they did, and for a while, Meg's only friend was a little pinto pony named Dasher.
Meg had that pony for several years, until her final year of middle school, where her father was suddenly laid off from his job. Then, to be able to still live in decent comfort, her parents sold her pony, sold their large mansion, and shifted to a much smaller house which was in a more lively neighborhood. It was there that Meg first came across him, the guy who would torment her thoughts for the next few years. He was her neighbor across the street, and he was a pretty mischievous guy. He captured her interest from the very beginning, tempting her to break the rules, do other crazy things that she knew her parents would never approve of. Despite him being a bit disagreeable, she fell for him, and she fell hard. During that summer, the two of them were inseparable, and when they both got letters to attend J. Cricket Academy, she thought it was fate.
Still, she did think that the academy itself was a bit bizarre. The way it organized people into houses was something she thought was just plain weird. When Megan arrived there for her freshman year, she was placed into Regius, and while she thought that was pretty cool since apparently it meant those more superior in society, it meant she would no longer be as close to her new boyfriend, who was placed into Atrox. Meg had heard that the house was for the truly wicked at heart, but she didn't believe it. She thought her boyfriend was the best guy in the world. They were still together all the time, and he would often talk about leaving the academy, about the two of them running away somewhere special, somewhere far away where their parents couldn't find them.
His words enticed Meg, they motivated her to do all sorts of things for him. He told her that he needed her to do some really irritating part time job in order to save up enough money for the two of them to run away together. She dealt with a very rude and sexually harassing manager in the hopes that soon, the two of them would flee, and be together forever. However, it was too good to be true, and their relationship wouldn't last. In the beginning of her sophomore year, he broke up with her, and moved on to another girl as Meg watched, absolutely horrified, having saved up all this money for him, and in the end, he used it to buy himself something expensive. That year, she shut herself off from the world, and put her main focus on singing, and acting, her best abilities in order to be able to get out of that academy and out in the world.
Because of him, she learned to stop trusting people, and became rather cold and aloof, avoiding most people. Wrapped up in herself and her pain, she focused on doing well in her classes, and continued to work at her part-time job, in the hopes to save up enough money to still one day escape from the place, but this time by herself, and to a place where she could forget about everything. So now, she goes into her Junior year with her only goals to become successful and get the hell out of Ireland.
