FEARS: that her father, the king will die and so will all six of her sisters and she will be left to be queen. also that someone will eventually take away her freedom.
GOALS: to change the world for the better and not listen to authority to make that happen.
PERSONALITY: arielle mia rosalie is a little rebel, something that offends her father greatly. she loves her dad, she does, but she feels he doesn't have the right to tell her what to do. while he is the king, she is his daughter and she feels that he should not treat her like one of his subjects, a feeling he does not share. ari lost her mother when she was little, leaving her with six sisters and an overprotective father. she supposes that so many girls around made her as boy-crazy as she now is.
arielle rebels against everyone. the government trying to destroy the land she holds so precious, the cooks that make seafood that should not be cooked. still, while she rebels against authority and could be considered a little weird at times, ari is usually friendly among her peers. she is very active, doing every exercise known to man, but most especially swimming. ari is the best on the swim team. she always felt a connection with the water, the liquid calming her no matter how angry at her dad she was.
ari loves a good party, especially if the cops come calling. she doesn't do drugs and she drinks rarely; she's there more for the interaction with others than anything else. she's determined and strong-willed and never gives up on anything. you could say that sometimes she's a little too forward with the boys as well. of course, when you're pretty sure your father has an arranged marriage for you later in your life, you would probably be boy-crazy as well.
as she loves to learn new languages, and her father insisted upon it when she was younger, ari is fluent in danish - her native tongue - french, spanish, italian, latin, and english. still, in school, she prefers to use the english, to immerse herself with the language more. ari is also a great singer but as her sisters are too, she never lets anyone hear. for her, singing should be kept private, to express yourself without anyone hearing if you don't want them to. and anyway, she has no problem expressing herself.
MOTHER: analina mordeaux triton, deceased.
FATHER: albert triton.
SIBLINGS: aquata, andrina, arista, attina, adella, alana triton.
OTHERS: not at the moment.
HOMETOWN: copenhagen, denmark.
BRIEF HISTORY: analina mordeaux and albert triton were betrothed at a young age, but almost instantly fell in love when they met. of the marriage came seven daughters. sadly, analina died in childbirth with their only son and the little boy died as well. albert was not consumed with having a son, but mourned his wife and child as a good husband ought to. and as a good father ought to, he made sure his daughters knew how much they meant to him.
ari might have known that a little too well. she took advantage of her father's love for her to get permission for him to let her outside of the palace walls. he agreed at first, but as ari wandered more and more into the world, he tried to pull her back. ari would have none of that. there was too much adventure out there and she wouldn't be stuck listening to her six sisters gab on and on about the latest fashion designer. the only good thing they ever mentioned were boys and albert would quickly escort arielle from the room before she could overhear. or so he thought.
on one particular day that she had snuck out, ari met a commoner who became her best friend, flanders. three years later, when albert learned of his daughter's befriending a commoner, he wrote to the jiminy cricket academy and asked the school to take her. he hoped that like her sisters, ari would learn the manners expected of her. well, to her surprise, ari loved the academy, but to albert's disappointment, she still rebels. her swim coach is perhaps the only authority she ever listens to, simply because she loves swimming so much. ari has yet to understand why fashion should matter to anyone. boys, however; now, that is understandable.
