DOWN DOWN IN AN EARLIER ROUND S U G A R WE'RE GOING DOWN SWINGING - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Colin walked down to the kitchens at night, his stomach had been growling for about an hour now. He figured that he since he had skipped dinner, that was probably the cause of this late night stomach rumble. It wasn't something he wasn't used to, Antoinette and Louis gave him the minimum, and he'd always been scrapped for food on the streets. Basically his entire life he'd gone hungry. He didn't mind, just when it kept him from sleeping.
When Colin entered the kitchen, it was dark. It was lucky for Colin that he knew his way around the maze that they claled a kitchen, for he didn't even bother to turn on the lights as he weaved his way towards the counter that held a fruit bowl. Not bothering to want to go back up to his room, Colin sat himself on top of the counter, grabbing an apple as his eyes adjusted to the dark.
Apples had to be his favorite food, one of the easiest things to steal back home. Just grab and and walk away. It fit into the palm of your hand. And if you got caught, you could easily run and eat. It was gone in a few bites and it didn't slow you down. It felt weird to just come down here and take an apple without having to look out for the owner or the police. Colin sat, munched on his apple, wearing his pajamas which was really just some loose cloth pants.
He'd seen some of the kids around here, obviously coming from money. Never having to work a day in their lives, always having just what they needed. Colin would bet they wouldn't have been able to last a day on the streets of Paris, his territory. Colin laughed once to himself, sounding cruel and sadistic. He couldn't wait to get back to the streets of Paris. FOR Anyone WORDS 317 LYRICS sugar we're going down swinging, fall out boy OUTFIT CLICK HURRNOTES Colin is so cute.... evil, yet cute. Coffee, gummy worms, and Eloise. Not a good mix. In fact, it meant that the devil had taken human form and you best get out of the way because hell was soon to be freezing over. Actually, that was more what happened when Eloise and Faye got in within eyesight of one another - but coffee and Eloise were pretty damn close to that outcome. She had made herself iced coffee earlier in the day, at around 4 o'clock in the afternoon. Now, more than seven hours later she was still bouncing around the caffeine running through her veins. Caffeine not only made Eloise become more energetic, but it also made her lose any sort of filter that she ever had. Words were rolling out of her mouth and she was speaking her mind moreso than ever. It was great when she wanted to write a song, but she didn't want to write a song. It was nearing 11:30 and she wanted to go to sleep, not stay up online chatting other students who were less than amusing. Unfortunately, that didn't seem to be possible.
Eloise decided she'd try an alternate solution. She snuck down to the kitchen, cautious because now was the time that the patrols were out. They patrolled until midnight and Ellie - though she used to know the patrolling patterns - had no idea which halls were safe or not. It made her feel like she was in a spy movie. She loved it. And obviously Ellie made it to the kitchen in record time without being caught, if she hadn't, there'd be no story.
She was planning on navigating through the kitchen in the dark (no doubtedly causing some bruises in the process), however when she was in the doorway she heard some laugh. If she wasn't so hyped on caffeine and sugar, she would've thought it creepy and it was. She admitted that, but she reacted differently. It clearly wasn't staff because, well, staff didn't have to worry about hiding in the dark. Eloise flipped on the light. She wasn't all too pleased with the sight before her. Colin Trouillefou. She didn't like that kid at all. She thought he was annoying and they just didn't get on well at all. It wasn't a hatred that could compare to Eloise's and Faye's, but it wasn't at all a simple matter. "Oh," she said her disapproval coating her words, "It's you." She crossed the kitchen, casually slipping by him, and went to the fridge. Her minifridge in her suite normally had a nice selection, but she was unable to stock up as much as she'd like. She pulled out a mango nectar juice can. She closed the fridge and leaned on it while she popped open the drink and took a sip. She had every intention of leaving as soon as she could, but she just wanted a minute to not think about dodging the patrols.
