<sup>Eighteen years old, he attends Kostine Academy as a senior and was scouted from Texas during his junior year for his excellence in athletics (mostly in basketball) and in the sciences. His parents are esteemed doctors of medicine in the states and so Eric is on the fence whether he should follow in their footsteps or chase his dreams in sports.


He's mostly going to be seen hanging around the jocks, but Eric's malleable personality allows him to level with any clique in the academy. He treats everyone with respect and isn't that type of person to bully others, although if someone acts like a meanie towards him - he has the right to make the feeling mutual. He respects trusts and will never backstab another buddy, especially there is something to gain personally from it. Rick loves parties and 'study sessions', so he's quite the social chatterbox.


Enemies might possibly consist of rivals. Whether it's in sports or in class to get the highest grade or maybe to compete in relationships. He might end up bullying someone just to give into peer pressure with his friends, but he's not a bad guy at heart. He'll try to reconcile with anyone if they're willing. Other than that, he won't puss out of a fight with a guy so expect him to stand up for himself and his buddies. And he will never talk behind someone's back, he'd rather confront something about someone and settle it there.


He just ended a relationship with his girlfriend once he found out he was going to attend Kostine Academy. Eric doesn't do long distance relationships, so he's single now. He can be a bit of a flirty sweetheart with anyone and right now he's a bit confused with his orientation as he's slept with dudes at drunk parties. But other than that, I don't really mind who ends up with him. Flings are always nice to pass the time. Also he highly rejects people who like him simply because of his smarts or looks.</sup>

Well, Eric is certainly an interesting character. xD There are a couple ways I could go about this with Seth and him. Sooo;;

UNLIKELY FRIENDS.

Now, Seth has a tendency to be bit of an asshole to people that annoy him and it usually puts most people at odds with him whether they are the direct target of his jerkish attitude or not. That being said, considering they are separate by age and grade they probably wouldn't have interacted very much. I think in general, their personalities would clash quite a bit for one, being the fact that Seth is much more musically inclined than he is athletically, so he is certainly no jock and two because he's much too honest about his feelings. He doesn't take shit. However, he is not a genuinely mean person. In fact he can be quite nice to people so long as they don't harbor the tendency to piss him off. And honestly I don't imagine Eric would piss him off too much unless he was being particularly arrogant. I imagine they could have probably met at some party or something and got to talking and joking around in Seth's sophomore year or something.

MUTUAL ENEMIES.

One event where Seth or Eric were in a particularly pissy or annoyed mood would be more than enough to set this off. They could have probably crossed paths incidentally and one or the other wouldn't have been as cordial as they usually would have been and since then they can't really stand being around each other too much.

PAST/FUTURE FLING.

This could easily tie into both of the above depending on the route you'd prefer to go. Now Seth is bisexual and he's not unknown to have an occasional fling with men or women. Would the have been past fling - met up at some party piss ass drunk, they would could either go on to being enemies, friends or even relative disinterest or acquaintances. A future fling however could be a fall out of being either mutual enemies or unlikely friends - in this case out drinking together and ended up going at it or something.

Anyway. Let me know with route you want to take, if any. And also if you have any other or extended ideas. xD

SETH&ERIC
Thanks for the response xD I like how you allowed some plots to branch out for more freedoms of choice. But to start this off, mixing Eric's sports influenced rowdiness with Seth's honesty would be one way to set them off at the wrong foot. I think it'd be great character development since the both of them are away from home and Eric is, so to speak, abandoning what his parents taught him about respect (although he still retains some bits of it). Chances are they would've seen each other around campus or maybe at sports events and so on. I can edit Eric's history by saying he was scouted in his junior year to give the two of them more back story to have met in the past.

Sometimes Rick's ego can take over a little while and he might end up bragging and such. But I think the more time Eric spends away from his jock friends and more with Seth, it'll be easier to see Eric's good side. And meeting in a past party would lay out some even ground for them, so they could get along every now and then. They could easily turn into enemies, but I say it's mostly caused by having a past fling together. Seth would blame Eric for trying to make a move on him (which probably didn't get far, either way) and vice versa. So this would, naturally, get them to stay away from each other as much as possible. And since I like to torture my characters, I think sexual frustration would be an interesting element to bring into this. But eventually, I say they try to mend their unstable relationship by hanging out at another party (which I can't help but poetically state how it mirrors their first party together) and then they sex up. That's just what I've planned xD Edit/add/remove what you see fit :3

Corbi & Eric

I could see Corbi being sort of shy around him because she'd be more than a little intimidated by him. She usually is when it comes to guys who are athletic and smart. But I could see her still bothering him about wanting to take his picture all the time. I'm not sure she'd ever be able to tell him that she thought he was pretty and that was why she wanted his picture though. I think Corbi would also kind of avoid being his friend, afraid of getting too 'attached' to him and actually having a crush on him.

Salem & Eric

Eric would probably be one of the guys that Salem wouldn't push too much. I could see him trying to get on his good side and stay there to get himself places. And though they would probably clash from time to time, Salem would instantly mend the situation because he would realize that Eric was going places. Other than running into each other around campus though, I can't really see the two of them hanging out much since Salem is a theater kid.

Yeah, it makes sense for them to get off on the wrong foot at some point until they started hanging out without there friends around to influence their action. (I don't think you'll have to edit your history though, unless you really want to.) xD I think at some point it would have made for a decent background on them leading to having a past fling. I think if that was the case as they stand in current time, they'd be a bit at odds again - broken friendship and such as I can see Seth blaming him for making a move on him and getting all annoyed about it because it got awkward after. And since it's the new year they probably haven't talked all summer etc. so it would leave things pretty loose ended. Haha, I love sexual frustration. I'm all for it. - I hope I interpreted that all correctly. My brain isn't on normal functioning levels at the moment xD. Forgive me.

Lara & Eric

I totally think these two should know each other. Maybe they meet while playing a game of football in the courtyard or something. Eric could be like, why is she out here? and then she beasts it up and he's like, dang... Or something haha. That doesn't have to be it. They could just be casual friends. Maybe Lara calls him up when she needs someone to go for a run with or something...I dunno, haha, throw something out here. She's seventeen, a junior, an artist, and a bit of a badass - or at least she thinks so haha

CORBI&ERIC
To Eric, shy girls are much more cuter than the ones who think they can go up to any guy and master a conversation. So once he spots how uncomfortable she when they have a little chat, he'll reassure her that there's nothing to be nervous about and how everyone in the school, including her, were chosen because they excelled in something. Expect that kind of pep talk from him lol. Rick won't mind having her take pics of him, as long as she isn't trying to blackmail him of something ;) Aww, he's going to voice his admiration of her pink hair, that's for sure haha. But since they would get along fine, he wouldn't be against hanging out around campus somewhere. And if she does feel like she's getting attached, I think Eric wouldn't mind having a fan =P

SALEM&ERIC
Salem is too innocent looking and Eric doesn't have it in himself to bother a kid like him. Perhaps if Rick's friends put him in the spot, he might. My char has preconceived notions that the emo-types in school were always the ones who were hooked on drugs and drawing pictures that depicted death lol. Salem could definitely break that stereotype and Eric has no issues in whoever he chills with. You never know, Eric might have an interest in theater and plays. So he'd watch a show or two and praise the kid for his talents just like Salem would for Eric presumably haha xD

SETH&ERIC
Definitely. Eric would still remember that party and things could have escalated; perhaps Seth was willing to go farther but Eric was reluctant and ruined the mood, thus Seth blaming him for the awkwardness ever since. So they'd still be friends, but they wouldn't hang out as much. Eric would feel like he has unfinished business, so that would compel him to meet Seth about it now. But within that time frame they'd make fleeting eye contact around school and pretend like nothing happened. Awesome, I'd like to see how they interact in a thread. I'm sure you absorbed everything just fine :) I can start one if you want me to.

LARA&ERIC
Ooo, I like those ideas. Haha, 'beasting' it up =P Girls like that automatically get on his good side, that's for sure. He'll be impressed if she isn't afraid in catching the ball or throws it in good form. Don't be surprised if he tries to be all suave around her. Next thing you know they shack it together in a dorm room. But Eric is always good with a platonic friendship. And if Lara wanted to go jogging with him, Eric would be more than happier to accompany her. I like these two. Definitely worthy of a thread which I can start (or you if you're up for it haha).

ERIC&MAC

So, my girl Mac here is used to running with the boys. She's more comfortable around guys, always has been. Not to mention, she's sort of missing her best friend, her big brother Max. I have a feeling she might sort of gravitate toward Eric to serve as a sort of surrogate brother, possibly? Plus, they're both from America, and the good ol' South at that so they might be able to stave off any home-sickness that might crop up. It doesn't seem like their personalities would clash but lemme know if you think differently. Feel free to change/add to/completely trash anything. ^^
