The year 2025. The location Louisiana. The lost state.
It’s been a fifteen years since vampires came out of the coffin and coexisted with humans. Vampire politics began to forge cracks in the values of society. The body count began to rise and it was clear the undead had the upper hand. Vampires were slowly taking over. That was until they were over taken by another race, with the strength to form an allegiance with the human population…
Its been seven years since the were population made themselves known, with a pledge to protect the human population from the fang. With them they brought Medothalaine Silver. A powerful sedative which weakens the system of the vampire. A drug which was manufactured to be used as a biological weapon to wipe vampires off the face of the planet.
An immunisation programme was initiated, so humans would be protected from the vampire bite. Any vampire to bite an immunised human would quickly become slow and weakened by the drug, its effects lasting up to 30days. Synthetic blood was slowly phased out, and was only available on the underground market. The hope that vampires would fade.
Some vampires rebelled and tried to survive underground; away from the main streets of town. Some vampires were captured and used as slaves. Humans who ingested V, were also affected by the drug; making them become insane. The side effects irreversible.
Louisiana; once one of the most populated vampire states; now in extreme jeopardy. A violent and dark war cascading. Vampires and Were’s against each other; humans stuck in the middle… its survival of the strongest… As Dusk Falls…
