The tiny girl blinked, having zoned out for a moment. She did that sometimes. Just dreamed, not paying anyone else any mind. She was thinking about attention. If Faye didn't get it, she figured she most likely would have a breakdown. Probably cry, and somehow do something to gain attention again. She felt those insecure voices prodding at her again. She took a deep breath, and chose instead to focus again on Woody. He kept her safe.
Summer had left her lonely. Thank god for cell phones. She'd stayed home, went shopping most of the time, and then texted and talked to Woody, Peter, and a few other choice people over the grueling weeks of summer. But Woody kept her going with his compliment. So cute, so pretty, adorable, and the like. She loved it. Faye knew he did mean it, and sometimes, it made her hurt, just because she wanted to be more, but at the same time, she didn't. It was an odd reasoning.
She giggled, her hands running to fix her ruffled hair. "You are super smooth, Woody. Like butter." The blonde giggled, looking up at the adorable cowboy. Around Woody, she felt more relaxed and herself. It was odd how she felt so different around him, but at the same time, it was nice. She smiled when he called her his princess. "Did I tell you how much I like this princess thing?' She asked, glancing up at him still. "And I will. I promise. And I know. I hate it too." She pouted again, her lower lip jutting out.
Faye'd always been gentle. She was only rough with her male friends. Well, she'd be rough with Woody if he wanted to, but he usually liked the gentle touch that Faye usually perferred herself. He pulled her in close, and she smiled, scooting herself as close as she could get. "Alright. Which one? I'll have to get up at some point to put it in." The blonde said, trying to make her voice as disappointed as she felt. But he kissed her head and she felt better. "Aw. I missed you even more." Faye added with a giggle.

“Should I be insulted by that or complimented?” Woody asked her, taking his hat off and letting it rest on the seat of her chair. He ran his hand through his hair, ruffling it into a just got out of bed look with practiced ease. “Super smooth like butter sounds like a very good compliment so I am going to take it as one,” Woody told her, giving her his own adorable smile. He knew that she wouldn’t be insulting him. If she was, she wouldn’t be snuggled up to him right now.
“You’ll always be my princess,” Woody told her, winking at her with his own dark brown eyes. His eyes were the same colour as his hair which he had always found that girls liked that about him. His eyes were almost a chocolate colour as was his hair, though his hat tended to rest upon it and he tended to lower the brim so that his eyes were hidden to people. It was a lot more fun to pretend to be mysterious, after all.
“I don’t really care what film. I’m not exactly going to be paying attention to it,” Woody told her, moving from his comfy position and picking up a random film. He opened the case and slipped the disk in, turning on the movie. He flicked the lights off at the doorway before flopping back down onto the bed and pulling Faye back into him. “How much did you miss me?

"Complimented, obviously." Faye said, letting her hand run through his hair as soon as the cowboy hat came off. "Woody, I absolutely love your hair. " The blonde giggled happily, playing with his hair still. She was proud of her compliment. And his smiled. She could melt from that smile. It was just too cute for his own good.
"Always?" She asked, with another giggle and an added blush as he winked at her. His eyes matched his hair. He was quite matchy, and Faye liked that. His eyes and hair were the color, in her opinion, of chocolate, and it made her think about how sweet Woody was. As for Faye, her hair was blonde, and her eyes were big and blue, like the ocean. Probably her favorite feature, if she had to choose.
She giggled again, realizing what he meant almost instantly. He shifted, and she made a squeak noise, signalling her disapproval as she moved, avoiding getting hit. She looked over at the case, curious to what he chose. Some Disney movie. She'd seem them all a million times, so it wasn't that big a deal. Suddenly, her dorm went dark, and as soon as he pulled her back in, Faye let out a happy sigh. "How much did you miss me?" She thought. And thought. and thought. "Well, Woody...I missed you more than you could ever possibly imagine." She looked up at him, in all his brown-haired, brown-eyed, adorable glory.

"I should hope so too," Woody murmured, smiling slightly as she ran her hand through his hair. Her touch was always so soft, in such stark contrast to the ruffling of his hair that Jessie did. He loved spending time with Jessie but when she was with him she tended to be quite rough, just like any other best friend would. "I happen to love my hair too," he told her, reaching out and taking hold of the hand that wasn't in his hair. He linked his bigger fingers with her soft, smaller fingers.
"Always. Forever and ever and a day," Woody told her, tracing a finger over her blushing cheeks. He grinned at her reaction. Very cute, that blush of yours." Faye was always so bright in her appearance. She always liked to wear bright greens, her blue eyes were a sparkling bright colour and she was always so bubbly. He had always found her eyes the prettiest feature on her and he could stare into them for days if he had the chance.
He couldn't stop himself grinning as she giggled over his comment. He knew she would know what he meant; he would be watching her, putting all his attention on her rather than the film. "Well," Woody began, smiling down at her. "I missed you more than all the stars in the sky." His eyes twinkled in the darkness, the reflection of the tv screen lighting up Faye's own eyes. "More than all the letters in the dictionary." He put his hands around her waist, leaning down close to her face. "More than all the grains of sand in the Sahara."

"I mean, why wouldn't I compliment you?" She murmured, his smile making her smile right back. His skin was smooth, with some hints of scruff. But she did like scruff occasionally. On Peter, it wasn't good. On Woody, however, he looked really good with it. Faye liked to gently touch the boy's face. She giggled, taking her hand in his. His hand was huge. Faye's free hand still ran through his hair, playing with it.
His finger tickled her cheeks slightly. "Princesses have cute blushes. So, thank you." Faye giggled, blushing even more. She wondered what Woody was thinking about. Her hair? Her eyes? Maybe about her blush, as he commented about only seconds ago.
His grin. Another attractive part of him. He looked down at her and she felt like she could just melt. "I missed you more than all the stars in the sky." His eyes twinkled like stars. "More than all the letters in the dictionary." His hands found her waist, and his face was close to hers. She leaned up a little bit. "More than all the grains of sand in the Sahara." Once he finished his sentence, Faye leaned up a little more to kiss him, closing the space between them.

"That is a very fair point. I mean, you tell me often enough what you like about me. I also do the same to you, of course, but it would take way too long to list everything," Woody pointed out, letting her run her fingers over his face. Her fingers were tiny and gentle, pretty much like the rest of Faye. He knew she could be rough if she wanted, especially when she is with Peter, and he knew she could be very strong when she needed to be, but he liked being around the Faye that was gentle and sweet and, well, fragile. When she was him, she let him look after her, shower her with attention and compliments, and that was why he liked spending time with her.
"Well, my princess has the cutest blush I know. But not as pretty as her beautiful eyes that I could stare into all day," Woody whispered, running his hand up her side before resting it on the base of her back. "Your eyes are one of the most beautiful things about you, Faye. They truly are and you know I would never lie to you." Woody knew that much was true. as far as he was aware, he hadn't lied to Faye and she hadn't lied to him. They both knew where they stood in their relationship.
Woody felt her close the gap between them and pulled her close to keep her into him as he kissed her back. It felt just like it always did. Familiar, sweet and so very Faye. He wasn't sure how much longer he would be able to do this. As soon as she was with Peter, he knew he would probably have to back off a little. Part of him knew it was the right thing to do, but he would miss being able to kiss her when he wanted without all the consequences. He manoeuvred himself so that they were both led properly on the bed, lying her underneath him. "What's going to happen to us over this Peter thing, Faye?" Woody asked, pulling away slightly to look down at her.

"Well, I like everything. Psh. It would not take that long...would it? Do you really like that much about me?" She asked curiousity, a little surprised. Faye looked at Woody's hand, holding hers. Big, strong, larger than her dainty little hands, each nail covered in green, glittery nail polish. Woody always made her feel more feminine. Of course, Faye always felt girly with guys, but with Woody, it was really...more obvious. He tended to be a gentleman, and Faye just fell into that, playing the damsel in distress that she liked to be occasionally. A guy at her beck and call? It was kinda nice. The compliments, the snuggling...all of it.
Faye's eyes widened. He liked her eyes too! "Aw. I like my eyes too. But I think I could get lost in yours more than you could in mine." She murmured, her lips twisting into a smile. Her eyes were beautiful? Well, Woody never lied. He meant it, completely and honestly. "I...I know. And you're sweet for saying that." She pulled her hand away from his face, and draped the arm casually around his neck and shoulders. He never lied to her. She hadn't lied to him, and never planned to. Lying to those she cared about wasn't cool.
He pulled her close and Faye's eyes shut for a moment, enjoying the familiarity. His was kiss was great. Gentle, sweet, perfect in every way. Of course, this made the whole Peter thing harder. But she knew her and Woody would still be friends. Besides, even if she dated Peter, snuggling was okay. No kissing, but snuggling was okay. Peter wouldn't mind that. He wasn't really the jealous type. That was definitely Faye, all the way. Opening her eyes, Faye found herself laying on the bed, underneath Woody, who'd pulled away. "What's going to happen to us over this Peter thing, Faye?" The blonde felt her lips form a frown. "I don't know, Woody. We'll have to stop...well, this. That is, if Peter actually likes me."

"It would take forever and ever and a day to list all the things I like about my Princess Faye," Woody admitted, running a free hand through her blonde hair with a smile. "I like so much about you. If I didn't, then we wouldn't be such great friends now, would we?" Woody squeezed her hand in his, taking his hand back down to her waist. Faye was his princess, his damsel in distress that he could run to rescue whenever he felt like it. She was almost always there and he liked that about her, but he knew that as soon as Peter was really on the scene, then things would be a lot more difficult, but he could handle difficult. After all, he had to tell her about Cassie.
"Aw, could you now?" Woody asked, winking at her with a laugh. "My very chocolate brown eyes. Matching my very chocolate brown hair." He glanced down at himself in the dark room, lit only by the film playing that he hadn't even paid any attention to so far. "Not wearing anything else chocolate brown, except my hat I suppose. But yes, I match I guess. You're all bright and vibrant and very...well...Faye." He smiled at her, resting his hands either side of her head to support himself above her so not to crush her whilst talking.
"Well, yes, we'll have to stop the kissing, but that doesn't mean I have to stop watching films with you and cuddling does it? I know you're the jealous one, but I'm not sure exactly what Peter feels about, well, us," Woody mused, looking at the frown on her face. He moved his hand and traced his fingers over her lips. "My Princess, you know I keep telling you that Peter likes you. He just doesn't realise that yet. You just have to, well, nudge him a heck of a lot to realise this." He leaned back down and pressed his lips against her before pulling away again. "Plus... I'm kinda trying to get a girlfriend and I plan to do it tomorrow. You know, with Cassie..."
